Career Patron provides career consultations with independent experts, CV and LinkedIn writing, and job application support. Contact us at hello@careerpatron.com.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 to create an account, and give accurate information.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- We may suspend accounts that are used to abuse experts, staff or other customers, or for fraud.
3. Our services
- Each service page describes what's included, the price and the expected delivery time. The description at the time you order forms part of your contract.
- Consultations are delivered online by experts who are independent professionals. Their advice is their professional opinion; you decide what to do with it.
- We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or any particular outcome.
4. Job application support
- We only submit an application after you have approved the job in your dashboard.
- An application is marked as submitted only when a member of our team has actually submitted it, and the date is recorded.
- You confirm that the information in your CV is true. We won't submit information we know to be false.
- We will never ask for your passwords. Where an employer requires an account, we'll agree with you how to handle it.
5. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) unless stated otherwise and include VAT where applicable.
- Payment is taken in full when you order, securely through Stripe. Your order is confirmed only once payment is confirmed.
- Discount codes are subject to their own conditions and can't be exchanged for cash.
6. Cancellations and refunds
See our refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Documents and intellectual property
- You keep ownership of the documents you upload. You give us permission to use them only to deliver your services.
- Once paid for, the documents we write for you are yours to use for your own job search.
- Website content, branding and design belong to Career Patron.
8. Reviews
Only customers who completed a service can leave a review. Reviews must be honest and must not include personal information about others. We may hide reviews that break these rules, but we never write or edit reviews.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use the platform to harass anyone, share unlawful content, contact experts to arrange services off the platform, or try to access data that isn't yours.
10. Our responsibility to you
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or EU you may also have the protection of your local consumer law and courts.
